Why are the labels on the illustrations mostly in Italian? |
The original plates were created for the biennial celebrations in Venice. We have decided to leave the illustrations in their original form, and translate and explain them as required in the accompanying texts. In that way, it should be easy for you to understand the thinking behind each individual colour-system. |
|
How do we find our way through this mass of material? Is there a "correct way" to pass through the labyrinth? |
To a certain extent, IdeaColour deals with the same theme, 71 times but always from a different point of view and for a different reason. We have given a vertical order to the systems, and many have been laterally linked. We believe that there is no "correct way" to approach the phenomenon of colour. In fact, we would rather answer these questions with: "The journey is also the destination". So let yourself drift, and be fascinated by the extraordinary number of possibilities. Maybe youre looking for something specific? The strict ordering principle of our product will help you. |
